no, the ones I got were some dark greyish color?? and the nuts were black?? -- and I couldn't get the threads to mesh by hand...

yeah the nuts are a steel nut, but i know i had some polished screws, dangit, maybe i grabbed the wrong ones..........sorry bud.

no prob man -- spent bout $6 at Lowes...lol they only sold them in sets of 5!!!! so had to buy two sets

Little off topic, but I feel your pain. Had to pick up some myself for my new weather tight block heater plug. I only needed 4, so i ended up with a spare bolt.

Back to topic, NOW THATS A ZOODAD! Good grief! Been easier to just take off the front clip?
