no speedo, abs light on and more...

hello, first post to the board and hope to have more....but not of this nature. my 1999 250 7.3 is broke. a few days ago the speedo stops working, abs light on all the time, no cruise control, no odometer. everything seemed to quit at once. i dont have digital gauges but the old fashioned dials. any assistance is very appreciated because this vehicle is the only other vehicle i own with exception of a harley. I am a contracter and if you have ever tried to haul a table saw on a 1999 sportster......you will see my dillema.

Sounds to me like the sensor in the rear diff went bad. Common problem. Get one from the dealer. Tkaes about 5 min to change. Just be careful not to break it off in the housing or you'll be pulling the cover and digging out the pieces. Good luck

replace the rear differential speed sensor...that should be your problem... easy to change too...only electrical connector on the rear diff...right on the top center just above where the driveline bolts to it...

I had this happen to me a couple of weeks a go and it was the fuse that went bad. It is in the fuse box under the dash I cannot remember the fuse number but look in the owners manual it will tell you.
hope this helps
