IS IT WORTH IT

I AM LOOKING IN TO GETTING A BB TURBO AND INJECTORS FOR MY 2002 7.3. I ALREADY HAVE A 6 POS FLIP CHIP,AFE STAGE 3 AND 5IN TURBO BACK EXHAUST. ITS FAST BUT NOT EAST ENOUGH. IS TH POWER WORTH THE MONEY OR IS THERE A BETTER WAY TO ADD SAFE POWER.(NO NOS)

A turbo and bigger sticks will give you some real gains. Depending on how big you want to go you might want to consider "big oil'', an upgrade to your HPOP system to make sure you can get all the fuel you need.

Hey man turn the "caps lock" OFF! It sounds like you are yelling at us.

But yes with the upgrades you already have, the turbo and sticks will help alot. but if you get injectors that are big (stage III or bigger) or not "Hybrid" you will really need to consider upgrading your HPOP (high pressure oil pump) to a dual pump setup. Oh, and single shot injectors will demand less oil than a split shot injector, so think about that too.

You can never have enought POWER!!!!! Of course its worth it. Just find the right combo of injectors to turbo and talk to some people and you'll be in the right direction in no time.

Hell yah its worth it! although, just curious -- will a BB turbo and injectors put him near the 400 HP mark??? or would he need Water/Meth to get to that limit...

I think if he got just the right combo of injectors to turbo (BIG but not TOO big) than yeah, he might be in the 400hp range.

Stage 2's and a drop in replacement from either Garrett or Turbonetics will get you to around 400 hp and since you have PMR's you will be right at the limit of your connecting rods.

Read what he said again.

Over 400hp and you are playing with fire. You don't want to try to race a ricer and leave parts scattered all all over the road.

Another guy I know has been running 435hp for over a year without any problems. Another fellow was pushing 415hp and popped the block. It has a lot to do with tuning. I do not know about other tuners but I know DP tuner has done a lot of cylinder pressure testing. DP is the tuner for the guy with 435hp. The other guy tuned his own with the SCT system.
