I just recently replaced my glow plugs and noticed that two of my injectors on the drivers side were disconnected. I plugged them in and noticed a huge difference in power. It has been a week and I am noticing smoke pouring out of the exhaust pipe when I step on the accelerator while driving. Mostly over 2000 rpm. It seems as though I am starting to lose power again. Any suggestions?

Take a look at your computer here to see if there is a chip in it. The chip installation instructions are the best I can do. It shows what it looks like with a chip and how to take the PCM out. Here: http://www.dp-tuner.com/Documentatio...stallation.pdf
And like Marc mentioned. At the least check the harness plug on the valve cover for now. The plugs on the injectors have a lock to keep them from coming unplugged. Were the metal clips still there? |
