Question early 99 upgrade order?

what order do i have to do my upgrades?
i'm looking to do them all over the next year.

turbo, injectors, and HPOP. i know i have to do them all or nothing, but i wanted to know about the HPOP, i know i can up that to a 99.5+ and have more, but could i go all out with an ATS or something before i do my injectors?

i was only looking to do 50hp injectors, unless i get talked out of it.
also was not sure about turbo, whats this D66? and what other options do i have "bolt on" for my early 99.

i drive her everyday for not ( but looking for an excursion for a daily driver )

thank in advance for any help,
John

The D66 is a stock turbo that is machined out to a 66mm wheel and is has an ATS 1.0 a/r exhaust housing. It is a great upgrade and a lot cheaper than anything else.

A HPOP from a late99-03 would be a noticeable upgrade with larger than stock injectors.

Bolt on yes. However it is not a drop in. It comes with the up pipes, mounting plate, turbo, intake "Y" and the intercooler tubes. You take all of the other turbo stuff off and bolt the new stuff on. This H2E I am running makes a ton of power and tows like a dream.

ball park, what is the cost for each turbo, and how big would i have to go with the injectors with each?

and i know this is an opinion, but what one is better, and why do you think.

( it seems like i'm only talking to strokin... but anyone jump in please! )

Beans Diesel Performance or https://amjperformance.com/ They both have injectors and turbos. Im doing the switch to the 99.5 to my early 99. I have the ball buster turbo but like you im still wondering what kind of injectors would be a good match because all my truck does is pull.

Bean is the man to talk to. I trust him very much. Brian or Cale from BTS have all kinds of good info as well. Oh yah, and Swamps and DI and WOP and BWD and _______(you input name here)

With the D66 stage 2 single shots are the largest you should go. Stock injectors will work but with the AB injectors they will be maxed out from the start.

With the H2E I would get at least stage 1 single shots however I would lean towards hybrid injectors. Stock injectors will work but with the AB injectors they will be maxed out from the start.

With a modded H2E, this is what I run, I would say at least a stage 2. B codes or hybrids are going to be the ticket. B codes are what I run and I have all kinds of fuel and no turbo lag.

With a ball buster I would go with stage 1 or 2 single shot injectors. Depends on what kind of power you want to make. Single shots give good power and you get better fuel economy with single shots.

Towing is what I do the most. But with my set up I tow, sled pull and drag race as well it is my daily driver. My truck makes 350hp/750tq in tow mode and 500+hp/1101tq in my race tune.
