What's it worth?

Hey guys. I'm new to this section of the forum but I've got a question for you all. I've got the opportunity to buy a 2002 F350 DRW from a coworkers father. It's a 2wd Lariat that has 330,000 on the ticker and was used to haul RVs up till a couple years ago. Now it's having a hard start and run problem and will probably have to be towed home. Dealer says it needs 8 new injectors, another mechanic says it has other fuel problems. My question is what is it worth in this condition and what am I gonna spend on injectors if that's what it is. I'd do all the work myself. Also, to all who are getting ready to tell me to use the search function, please have some courtesy and try to give me useable info the same way I'd do you if you had 6.4 or 6.7 questions. NADA says its worth $7500 in fair condition but that's assuming it's running. Thanks in advance.

Whats the outside like? Assuming it is in good condition along with the rest of the truck (other than the motor), I wouldn't want to pay more than $3k.

If the body is not all rotted away and it was running $8k-$10k, most ppl low ball (I know I do lol) and not many have that kind of $ laying around so you might have to settle for less. In its current not running condition idk.... whatever someone is willing to pay, prob no more than $2k. If he parted it out, he might make a lil more $.

I appreciate the info. I'll probably offer him $2000 and not go above $3000. The body and interior are in good shape it does have a dent on one of the dually fenders though. Any thoughts on what might be wrong with it. He said its hard to start and doesn't stay running very well. They had 2 injectors replaced and that fixed for about 2 weeks but now it's back to doing the same thing.

I agree with $3k. I would guess something with the HPOP. Guy at work here bought a 7.3 with same symptoms and replaced the LPOP and HPOP and she runs like a top now. don't think the LPOP was the problem though, he just also had bad oil pressure after he put the HPOP in
