02 7.3 HPOP

How hard is it to remove to the hpop cover to the reservoir what is involved, is there a gasket? I want to check for leak down. Thanks

Well, just to watch for a leak-down condition can't you just use the plug and "dip" the reservoir?

you can pull the allen plug out or even the oil sending unit right on top the reservoir and run a thin object ,screwdriver etc. down to the bottom and as long as its no more than 3/4 of an inch down from the top after an overnight sit your fine

Ok thanks I'll look into this I just never done it before and I would like to check it. Have a little bit of a hard start happening.
