my truck was hit in a parking lot :(

well honestly, I can't help but laugh a little at this. Since I spent every day this labor day weekend out on the lake, my girlfriend and I hit the mall sunday morning to grab a new pair of board shorts, and she wanted another Bikini.

We're walking out of the mall and I see all these police lights and mall security lights flashing. Heather sees a few people sitting in the back of an SUV with the tailgate open and goes "maybe they caught someone shop lifting and are searching them?" well we were in a hurry to get out on the lake and I click my unlock button and grab my door handle and hear "there he is, hey! is this your truck?" I was a bit confused and go "yeah what's up?"...."umm....your vehicle has been involved in an accident!"

I was parked in a spot and on the other side of the aisle way was an escort, behind the escort was a Saturn Outlook. Apparently the lady with the outlook somehow panicked or something and hammered the gas in drive and plowed into the escort, pushed it across the aisle and wedged it under my truck!

it took 5 people to lift up on my bumper to get the escort out The only reason why i'm remotely unhappy is because I just put the painted bumpers on my truck and had all the rust fixed this past spring, and this bumper is tweaked/bent into my bedside and the lower bedside is missing some paint now. So tomorrow it goes back to my buddy's dads shop for a new bumper and some touch up/whatever it needs.

Hit a car, go past your spot, past that spot, through the aisle, while pushing another car in P, squealing tires, and up to another vehicle not moving either

thanks I had just washed/waxed it for the weekend too and it was looking great!!! Insurance will take care of it, so for once I won't be out of money, and it'll only take a few days to get a new bumper ordered/painted/thrown on, not sure if the bedside will be repainted again or just blended, or just some touchup thrown on it.

but it was all repainted in march or april! so i'm a little upset about that

I know! the people with the escort were furious, and I was laughing. especially when it took 5 people lifting up on the back of my truck to get it un wedged

she is a keeper for sure! I have 10 months to pay off my truck, my tires probably have ~20k miles left on them, then it'll be 37's and a 6" lift

If your going to 37" tires, do gears at the same time, OR YOU WON'T BE HAPPY.
There is is always a trade off when go there.... just sayin
I've got 35" and I wish I had gears. I have the stock 3.73, and thery are ok, but it aint like it used to be.
