So 00powerstrokin, you would agree it is possible to get 20mpg even pushing 35's

Filled up tonight and calculated this past week of driving 80% city 20% highway at 15.5 mpg. Got 1600 miles on the odometer. It's getting better as mileage builds. And I havn't been babying it either. I'm satisfied. My buddy's got a Silverado HD with the 6.0 Gas and he envies my mileage.

Fuel mileage is actually a bit worse on veggie oil (5-10%).

It's safe for me to assume that CHenry has a dual tank setup where he starts up on diesel to begin heating of the oil. Therefore you only use a max of 1-2 gallons of diesel everytime you drive (startup + purge). The rest of the drive will be the cleaner burning veggie oil

since veggie oil is free for him, it increase his MPG of the PAYING FUEL he burns to 80 mpg around town and a tank range on a long trip.
