NEED HELP! - 203* Thermostat wont seal

I am trying to install the new 203 thermostat and aluminum houising but I cant get a good seal on the housing.

A gasket cam with both but I am only using the one under the thermostat. Am I supposed to be using one between thermostat and housing?

ANy advice greatly appreciated!

Check the directions. I believe it should indicate thermostat in the hole, gasket, then the housing sanwiches it all together nicely. Watch your torque. I believe 15 ft lbs.. Just did it a week ago worked fine.

I had to use rtv to get mine to seal properly, or else it would always have a little dribble...

I torqued the billet aluminum housing to spec and it does not leak a drop!

Replaced hoses, flushed x2, installed 203* thermo and coolant filter from DieselSite and refilled with Rotella ELC!

She is happy!

Thanks to everyone for the responses.
