Kelly Safari TSR??

G'day Fellas,

It has been asked some time ago; but I would like to see some more reviews on the Kelly Safari TSR.
They've been around long enough now to have enough fellas put enough miles on them on their trucks.
Especially like to know how they've behaved with the rear wheel torque produced by the heavy Diesel Trucks in particular the 7.3Ltr Trucks.
Towing with these tyres on these trucks? etc.

I'm looking at fitting LT285/75R16/E 126P
Maximum Load Bearing Capacity (for a single tire) 3750lb @80psi.
I know they are Load Range 'E' which is equivilant to the old '10 ply Rating', however I'm finding it hard to confirm the 'side wall ply'.
I would hope it is '3 ply Side Wall'.

pretty sure its a 3 ply. i love them. cheap aggressive lasting tires i will never buy anything else

How many miles do you have on them? Are they wearing even? Any cupping?

7.3 PSD, Swap'd in ZF6 ,South bend clutch ,BD exhaust brake, 4" lift & 35" Toyo AT2 , 6" Exhaust ,PHP Phoenix, .

sorry been busy. but no, no cupping what so ever. i had goodyear silent armors (junk) and kept cupping and ridding like crap but that was with stock 235/85r16. had my truck aligned numerous times. i would say i have 20,000 on them still look new. i paid 200 bucks a tire and its a 35. try buyin a toyo or mickey for that much. i love them. there not loud what so ever

I've got them on my truck, and they are dipping pretty good. I have rotated them at 3000 miles. They ride pretty good, not too good off the road as they clog easy. They were on truck when I bought it, but they were pretty new.

Interco SS M16 Tires

G'day Fellas,

I seems very limited info is out there on these tyres. Especially on how they hold up on the heavier big diesel trucks.

It suprises me somewhat seeing they are an Iconic American brand and made in the US

I know Kelly have been owned by Goodyear since around 1936, they make a lot of tyres for other applicatiobns but it seems they are struggling to establish themselves (in seems) in the offroad/truck market.

Because of the limited feed back I've started to look at the Interco SS M16 Tires in the 295/75R16's Load Range''E'.They are a little taller and would fill the wheel arc a little better as I have a 2.5" level/lift.

I believe they are targeted at the same slot between a Mudder and an AT tread?

Also not a lot of info on these even though they have also been aroung a while .


I must be picking the wrong tyres lol .

I have ran interco bogger tires on mud trucks for years, but have no opinion on the road with them.

there a cheap agressive tire. also on the ply of tires. if its a LR E its a ten ply. if its a LR d its a 8 ply. and so on. u take the letter and times it by 2 that will tell you the ply of the tire. And yes im a tire guy.
