What is this?

Was trying to find an oil leak and rebuilt my IPR thinking that is where the oil was coming from but i was wrong.

The O Ring blew out on this bolt. What is the purpose of this bolt? Im guessing its a drain for the HPOP but im not sure.

Looks like a fitting for the HPOP.

Not exactly sure of the purpose of this fitting but it's a common issue on these HPOP's. Ford has a reseal kit that's 3 orings, 2 for the HPOP line fittings going to the head, and another one for that plug.

Yeah im just curious of the purpose. Seems to me like it would have saved me $600 on a tow bill if they hadnt put an extra gaping hole in the HPOP that serves no purpose...

Ford wants $45 for that HPOP O ring kit, I spent .33 cents at NAPA yesterday for the single O ring i needed. FUK FORD DEALERS!!!

They also wanted $70 for the IPR rebuild kit. NAPA was $20.
