Running out of fuel before guage shows E

So I am getting ready to troubleshoot this problem. It has been apparent for the last few tanks. I have just started running the diesel kleen through my system. I just don't see how this could be the problem though. I its almost like I have a 8th tank of bad fuel that will not burn??

Anyone else have problems with this type of fuel additives?

It's not additives. You probably have a cracked fuel pickup assembly, and it's letting air in above the pickup foot.

The little umbrella thing on the end of the pick up tube its like a $40 part that goes on the end of your pick up tube
