Gear Vendors Overdrive

Has anybody done this? Just wondering if you like it, and if it was worth it. It's alot of money for this overdrive unit and was looking for everybody's input on this product. Looks like you could gain some pretty good fuel economy from it. I almost bought an OBS that had one and he said that he would get 20mpg going 80. Now not sure if this was true but that's what he said. Thanks for everybody's input

I've only heard good things about them. I know a guy with a 12v cummins w/ a gear vendors overdrive who averges 20-ish goin similar speeds. Different truck, I know... but none the less, the reports I've heard are all good if you do a lot of driving.

only heard good about them but at 3500+, it is going to take alot of miles to cover the cost. i think the main benefit is to someone pulling large loads, having the in between gears. mileage gain is just icing on the cake. just my .02
