DIY High Idle
Anyone know of a diy high idle mod for the 7.3? I thought that I saw a thread on it a while ago but can't seem to find anything, maybe I was mistaken though.

I think you can have a program burnt on your DP tuner for the high idle, but you'd have to send it in to re-burn it. I'm not sure if there's a DIY way to do it or not...

Ya Jody can burn that on the chip no problem, but then I don't have a DP Tuner for a few days! I was just wondering if there was a way that I could do it just for the hell of it. I'll most likely just have Jody burn a high idle tune on the chip, otherwise there's no reason to have a multi-bank chip if you don't use it.

Here's a couple pages with info:

Thanks for the link, that's a pretty good write up. I think that I'll be going with the DP file, the DIY looks semi-complicated and I don't want any mis-haps.
