transmission question

I have a 01 7.3 4wd and the tranny is going out. I found a good tranny out of a 2wd v10 I can get cheap. My question is could I use all the guts out of the v10 tranny and put in my case. I have rebuilt a few ford aod transmisson years ago so I think I can do the swap, I'm just not sure if the guts are the same in the v10 and the 7.3 tranny.
