building a 7.3 motor on a 5000 budget

if i handed you a 7.3 w 111,000 miles that was completly stock and already pulled out of the truck then handed you 5000 bucks how would you mod it? tell me everything you would do from the turbo injectors chip hpop what brands and why. Thanks for the input!

What year? depends on future plans, if any.
Personally I would do exhaust, 6637 filter, regulated return fuel, T500 hpop or srp1.1 based on goals, injectors based on goals. 2s or hybrids. if it has PMRs some of this is a bad idea. 38R turbo or bigger based on plans. TS chip with custom tunes by whoever you prefer. I like my PHP tunes. innovative is good, gearhead is good, etc. build the trans to handle the power

Judging by sig, I'd say it's got forged rods.

send it to a machine shop to get the cylinder's inspected and get some re-surfacing done. then fully inspect the whole block
