Mileage a concern

Looking at buying an '02 CC to replace my beat-to-crap '95 EC. The dealer down the road from me is listing it for 10.5k, 277k miles. I know the OBS trucks will go forever, but I've never owned an SD. Am I looking a big, expensive fix coming up? What should I be looking out for? 2002 LIFTED FORD F250 4X4 CREW CAB 7.3 DIESEL

How so? Does the mileage knock it down that much?

Get it checked out thoroughly. With big tires the front end is probably shot. Check trans, etc. Motor can be strong but 277k miles is a lot for any chassis.
