'02 F-250 7.3

Hey guys, Im brand new to the site. I know diesel engines fairly well, i know a lot more about cummins and am kinda new to powerstrokes(dnt dog me for this haha). Im pretty set on getting an 02 F250 auto eclb. Everythings stock on it except it has a 4" turbo back exhaust. Only concern w it is there is grease that is smeared on the oil pan. Ive read people do this to stop corrosion since the oil pan is a pain to change on 7.3's(pulling the motor, flipping, etc). My question to everyone is where should i start w upgrades. I know first get boost,egt,fuel pressure gauges to monitor everything once i start upgrading. Ive been doing a lot of research on chips and i think im set on a dp-tuner second to that would be a ts with beans. After i chip it im not sure where i need to go from there so gimme some input and anyone have an opinion on chips? i know one chips gna work different on every truck but overall who has the best reputation?
