Start of production thru 1425746 are Forged Rods
1425747 thru 1440712 are Powdered Rods
1446713 thru 1498318 are Forged Rods
1498319 thru final production run are all powdered
So far, that numbering is right.
Also, there is an inspection hole to check them.
Lots of threads on this.
You SN on the block is on the passenger side valve cover, assuming it hasn't been changed for a different VC.
Also, there has been better tuning and I think there's some >500HP trucks on PMR.

I told you wrong. It's on the drive valve cover. Forgot there is one on both covers. Pass side has year and HP/TQ numbers.
Driver side is the SN. My bad.
