Lots of differences...
body, frame, transmission, axles, brakes, injectors, turbo, fuel system

E99 has a inter cooler, electric fuel, 4 wheel disk brakes, optional 4 wheel ABS, 4R100 auto or ZF6 auto transmission, 120cc split shot injectors injectors, hydra boost brakes, electric vacuum pump, supercabs have 4 doors, Dana 50 solid front axle or Dana 60 in DRW, 10.5 Sterling rear, oil filler extension, may not have a cat, 8x170 lug pattern, more head room, 3 piece rear window, better mirror options, unit bearing hubs, front rotors don't require removal of hubs

97 is a OBS, mechanical fuel, 2 wheel ABS, drum brakes in the rear, E4OD or ZF5 transmission, 90cc single shot injectors (larger split shots in CA trucks), vacuum assist brakes, mechanical vacuum pump, Dana 50 TTB front axle in 250's, Dana 60 in 350's, 10.25 Sterling rear, has a cat, dual fuel tanks, 8x6.5 lug pattern, 4 piece rear window, vent window
