Still leaking oil

According to 2 mechanics the hpop was bad. I just finished installing a T500. Started the truck and let it idle for about 5 minutes while I looked for leaks. No leaks. I drove around the block and looked again. I have oil on the motor right behind the hpop. I dont see where it is coming from. Any ideas?

Clean all the oil off with degreaser and water, dry out the valley with paper towels. Get a mirror and flash light. Best to do this in a low light condition, not bright sun. Start it up and climb up their and watch it run. Your mirror needs to be small enough to get down in the valley and look under the hoop. Make sure you have tight fitting cloths on and nothing loose that can get caught on the fan or belt. It may have to warm up to start leaking, but if you miss the start of it, you'll have to start over to see where it's coming from. Good luck!

You are right. It was residual oil. I sprayed the heck out of it with degreaser and hosed it down. No more leak. Thank you!!!
