New F350

Hey guys new to the forums here and to diesel in general. I just bought a 2003 F350 Lariat 7.3 manual crew cab.i have been looking over the forum to try and answer some questions but I need some help. Now my truck looks to have had someone who liked to tinker with the wiring. The power windows only seem to work sometimes, the dome lights dont seem to work and my overhead console does not work at all. I have a bunch more questions but for now where should I start about my issues Im having. I have checked fuses and the seem good. Also is there a write up anywhere on how to replace the windsheild washer reservoir as I found mine leaks. Thanks for the help guys.

For the windows, start off simple and pull the switch apart. Clean the contacts with contact cleaner, carb cleaner or WD40.

Dome light, check the bulb.

Overhead, pull it apart and look for any small resistors that fall out. Re-solder them to the PCB.

Thanks for the info, I will start with that. Im thinking though there is possibly a short somewhere. For instance my dome lights work when I manually turn them on but not when the doors open. Or my windows will work fine from any door then at times none of them will work from any door. The guy who had it before me has wires cut everywhere and spliced and Im trying to figure out what goes where

washer res goes just pull the batt and batt tray and 3 bolt washer line and plug and your bottles out, the tray has i think 4 bolts...
