Please help me price this truck.

I may try to sell my truck to try to remove some debt. I own it free and clear, I paid it off over five years ago.

My daughter was born six weeks ago and my wife is staying home with her, so I have to support my family on one income. I don't have to sell, but I can provide a better future for my daughter if we remove a few monthly bills like student loans and her car payment.

It is a 2000 F350 Lariat with 80,000 miles. Yes you read that right, 80,000 miles. I don't have any current pics handy, but it looks pretty much the same as the photos above, minus the chrome trim on the doors and the 4x4 sticker has also been removed. I also replaced the yellow factory headlights with oem ford 05 style headlights. I am hoping the low mileage will make it popular and worth quite a bit more than most 7.3's. It is lifted with a Fabtech 3.5" hanger kit on the front, and has 5" blocks in the rear. It is all pretty much stock, because I don't have the money to do what I want to it. It does have a 1.0 exhaust housing on the stock turbo, which also deletes the exhaust backpressure valve.

It is a nice solid truck. Please give me an honest opinion on what its worth.

I would consider a trade, but only if i could get some considerable boot.

I'm trying to free up some cash.

Or, sell yours and then come buy mine.

List it for $22k and expect it to go fairly quickly for around $20k. Beautiful truck you have. Last Monday my father sold his 2000 F-250 CC SB 4x4 with 180k miles for $16k...and it sold quick. I think that your truck with 100k miles less than his would easily fetch $20k with the right person who wants it. Whats the worst that could happen if you start too high...someone has to talk you down. Someone will bite.

prices vary alot with location... out here i would say you could possibly sell that truck for about 15k... heck i sold my truck which was newer (with 115k miles) and about 25k worth in modifications for 19k...

good luck with the sale and congrats on the new baby....

An honest $18K I would imagine. Put it up for 20 or so. Clean 7.3's up here in the Rust belt are hard to come by. I have a few different business cards in my owners manual of people that have stopped by my shop asking to buy my truck.

I wouldn't take a penny less than $20k, especially if you don't NEED to sell it. It's got everything going for it that most people want... Lariat, crew cab, short bed, 4x4.

Where I live, you might get $15K from the right person, but every location is different as mentioned.
