Puttin in a Terminator HPOP

Ordered a pump and asked if it comes with a gasket. They said it doesnt and i could get one from Napa or autozone........ Well I called around and cant find just the hpop mounting gasket. I read that the gasket is reuseable. I dont want to change the hpop out and reuse the old gasket and end up with a leak. Is it a safe practice to reuse the gasket?

I probably wouldn't reuse it just for the sake of not having to retake it apart for an oil leak. You can order it online though from diesel o rings or riffraff..

I ordered the hpop last thursday. I got the hpop gasket yesterday and started talking parts off truck. Was hoping to get hpop today. Called today and found out they hadnt ordered the pump from Terminator yet.

They said they would put me first on the list.

Dilemma..... Do I put truck back together with bad hpop and leak oil everywhere or wait for the part to come in? How long does this normally take?

That sucks, any chance you can get it shipped faster? when I ordered mine I went direct to term and preshiped a hpop for them to mod, took 2 days after it getting there to shipped back out to me.

I ordered mine from terminator direct and had it within three days and it came with the new gasket. I was still running my hpop till the new arrived and then shipped my old back. I also chose their new modified pump verses a reman. just for my piece of mind. either way you go you will not be disappointed.
