02 7.3 P1316 code

Truck threw this code at the shop. Lots of blue smoke in the morning smells like raw fuel and rough idle. What is this code telling me, what does it mean? I have tried searching and only really came up with is uvch which one though?

No, 1316 isn't a specific code (like UCVH), but telling you there are IDM codes that need to be retrieved...

P1316 - Injector circuit/IDM codes detected / Injector circuit failure/IDM codes detected

So, at this point what you need to do is connect it to a scanner that's capable of doing a "Buzz Test" of the injector circuit and then,,, the IDM will produce the specific code fault for you.

Thanks appreciate the help going to mechanic now and see a compression test done thanks for the help. Hope this code is causing this smoke problem in the morning. Also the mechanic said up here the fuel is garbage fuel. It weighs 8.5+ pounds per gallon. Wow this crap in Alaska sucks because its pushing 4.60 right now a gallon for junk fuel lol.

Ok I had the fuel theory wrong. I went and saw him today the fuel up here weighs 8 lbs and it is supposed to weigh 8.5. Cyl 7-430 5- 375 3- 400 1- 420. That is the compression on the cylinders as of right now. That is a warm compression.

The mechanic cleared the codes and now he wants me to drive it for a while and come back to see if the code reappears. I really hope this 1316 pops up again because I think the smoking is caused by this code.
