what am i missing in this Cl ad

I came across this and it just doesnt seem right to me. Did they offer several dif diesel engines in the truck that year

body style is even wrong... looks like an IDI 6.9 or 7.3... before PSD, no turbo, mid 80's to '93.

the pics have a Diesel Power mag water mark. they probably just did a google image search on "ford diesel engine" and used it

someone post a picture of somebody's else truck and tries to get people to pay up front for it they never get said truck.

the ad is for an engine, not a truck first off...

people searching craigslist generally prefer ads with pictures. Like I said, he probably did a google image search and typed in "ford diesel engine" and picked the first pic that looked decent.

They're from Diesel Power magazine. It's obvious that he didn't take the pictures.

Nowhere in the ad does it say "send me ur mobnies n then ill send u teh motorz, promise!!! kthx"

LOL, and now he's changed the pictures. Probably because some forum troll called or emailed him and was like "OMG, ur a scammer!!!!!!!!!! don't take meh mobnies!"

made the poor guy go out, take pics, load them to his computer, load them to his ad, etc.
