clutch pedal spring?

So when i was leaving work I pulled out in 2nd and heard a snap. Didn't think anything of it and went to shift into 3rd and realized i had a little bit of play. So i pulled off and stuck ny hand down behind the pedal and out fell some spring with two rollers. One on each end. Clutch still works fine it just has a little play when its out instead of being hard/firm. Anyone know if there is a specific name for this part? And is it something i should get around to fixing ASAP even if the pedal still works fine? Thanks in advance.

yes i would fix and yes i believe you can order just the spring
