Programmer & resistor?
Is it a possibility to use a resistor and a programmer or is that too much for the truck to handle? I don't want to screw anything up

a resistor wont do s@%t when you run a programmer. the easiest way to make safe good power is to get a custom chip like ts or tony wildman tunes. if price is an issue for ya just buy a used one off the forum. i got mine for $200 and tony wildman offers free reburns and reburnt the chip to work on my truck

Resistor was before good AFFORDABLE tuning. Skip it. It's like having a carborated car and flipping the air cleaner lid upside down. They have improved the process. Was good when it was a solid option.
I almost did it on my 99 but then I got a chip for a case of beer..... Sent from my iPhone using Autoguide |
