trans temp fluttering
I'm guessing this is just my crappy gauges but before I condemn it is there anything that could cause my gauge to flutter between 120 and 160 when in drive or reverse but in park it stays at a steady temp that it normally runs at. If it doesn't seem like there is something that could cause that I'm going to call up and get the gauge replaced under warranty.

Can you explain "flutter"?
Is the ground wire at the sensor tight and making a good connection? |

It will go anywhere from 120-160 just moves around continuously. The truck is in the shop right now so I won't be able to check on on it until Tuesday.

I am gonna assume it is moving rapidly.
If ao, i would check connections for looseness. If not that, then maybe suspect the gauge. |
