2 Questions
First of all, is there a way to get rid of the annoying sound coming from the passenger side of the motor that sounds like a leaky exhaust? Is that the no. 8 injector?
Second question. Has anyone ever come up with a solution to filling the tank on a 250 shortbed? Every time I fill up it cuts off and then I got to stand there and slowly pump in the fuel until full. It's always about another 5 gallons. |

Not sure about the first question, but second question: but Mine has always done the same thing. i just figured it was the nature of Diesel foaming up and the way tank is designed. Not sure if anything can be done about that.

If you do a regulated return, hutch and harpoon i think you will be satisfied. Should solve both

ok, 1st one don't know, 2nd have read remove the bed and remove the vent tube from the tank, supposedly this will keep the diesel from foaming up as much which is the issue that you are talking about.

first question i got nothing, second question there's a mod for that, can't remember the name of it but if you search the forums you can find it, one thing i did that is easy and quick, take off your tank cap off and bust out that oh heck hold on i'll get a picture. ah nevermind probably won't help.

I understand what you guys are saying, but I never had this problem when I had my long bed dually. That's why it makes no sense.

I did the hutch mod on my fuelk tank (short bed f250) and now I can fit in 30 gallons until it clicks.

Bruce, i just did a little research on the Regulated return and i believe i will be looking into that for my truck. trying anything i can to increase fuel economy and increase power. sure sounds like that will help. But what is Hutch and Harpoon? A name brand? I found info on "Driven Diesel Regulated Return" are they the same thing?

just so you know the number 8 injector is the one one against the firewall on the driver side
