Blowby

Hello,

My name is Nate, and I just bought myself a 2001 F250 7.3L Turbo

I was wondering if this is TOO MUCH Blow-by for a vehicle with near 200k miles.

I have a couple days left with the MN lemon law, and I don't want to keep this truck if its got a bad motor.

Looks about right. No major puffs, just a stream. Looks like someone already did the CCV mod
You can pull the oil fill cap and get a better view of it, but looks fine to me.

Thanks for the comments folks! Oil cap video is being uploaded ATM. Looked somewhat poofy when I opened up the oil cap.... maybe thats because its right above all the action? hopefully its nothing too serious, and I doubt the motor would be running as good as it is if it was that bad of blowby.

Mine has buddy's truck has 175k and it has about that much blow by.. my truck with 430k smokes a tiny bit more. Looks perfectly normal to me. if you want to do it again and this time set the oil cap upside down on the filler tube. too much blow by is if it blows off (don't confuse this with it just vibrating off)

Also it looks like your tire is a little low on air?? Might just be the camera angle.
