fuel tank size
i have owned this truck for oh a year and some change, did not know even from PO how many gallons my truck has, ask the dealer you say, i did, they could not give me a solid answer..so, today i found out, ran it dry, well not dry but it started to sput, then i turned the key off pulled over on the side of the highway and filled her up with the 34 gallons of fuel i had in my bed tank, that did not fill it up, so i then drove 7 miles to the nearest gas station and filled it, took 7.5 gallons. once the pump stopped i did not continue pumping i stopped. so know i'm led to believe that i have a 42 gallon tank? doesn't seem right, maybe if this was a 1 ton but a 3/4?

i also wanted to say that when my "low fuel" light came on, i drove for 91 miles before it sputtered. I figured I probably had 30miles from what I've heard about the "low fuel" light.

Short bed should be 26 gal. Long bed is 38. When my fuel light comes on it'll take ~34.5 gallons. That's just going until it stops + nearest $.50/$1. Once it stops, it'll just keep clicking off.

My long bed says it has a 38 gal tank. That's just what Ford says.
