new 08 diff cover fits older trucks

my buddy got a 08 or 07 diff cover the nice finned ones that come stock on the newwer trucks for $40 from the dealer and put it on his 2000 f250? just thought you would like to know guys,i am doing mine this weekend

Rc nitro huh - what all do you have? All I have is a Tmaxx - the 1st gen one with the 2nd gen motor & proline suspension kit to make it wider..

anyway..lol - those are pretty cool - I wonder how much they help disipate heat?

i race 1/8 buggies and truggies on offroad tracks all over,lot of fun. the covers also hold more fluid so i am sure it helps some?

Thats cool - I wanted to do that, but ended up married and the wife thought it was "too expensive of a hobby"

Dieselmanor.com has them for arond 45.00 bucks and they also include the longer bolts that are needed.

I bought one for mine from them. I was told that it does not hold anymore fluid, but it does help to disapate heat better. holds around 4.5 qrts.
