99 f350. Minor Issues Need Help

Well I just purchased the truck and I knew it had a door ajar issue. The kicker is the driver side door has been replaced which I was also aware of. So anyways, with all oh the doors closed the door ajar light is on. And when you open the Drivers side door the light goes off????????????? Not really sure how to fix this issue, I already have the door panel removed and all the wires look fine going to the door latch. Also Im not sure which connector on the latch is the one for the door ajar. What Ive done already is remove both connectors and switched over the wires in the connectors to see if reversing the polarity fixes it, and it did not.Any help would be great! After I get this fixed still have some little stuff to fix, just gotta go one at a time.

shoot some wd40 down in the latch and open and close the door a few times... mine did this when I first got it and drove me crazy. There is a thread somewhere around here that goes into more detail. Hopefully that works

Well I dont know if that will work because when you open the door the light goes OFF and when the door is closed the Light comes ON. It seems like the wire are backwards or the switch is messed up. I have no idea???????????
