hey VITAL, I took the red line off the wastegate, and it got up to 17.5 PSI, and thats with the dirty filter, I changed the filter, but havent driven it to see what I peak at now. What compressor wheel would you suggest? How long with the compressor wheel, like it is with no lateral movement, last? what steps to change the compressor wheel?

Thats good that you don't have any lateral movement you want that or very little. You want absolutely no in and out movement of the shaft also. That means you bearings are still good and you just have to replace your compressor wheel. Just replace with the stock wheel. It has a few different names: whicked wheel, xwheel, superior wheel to name a few. Here is a writeup for removing and replacing without taking the turbo off the truck

You bet if and when you decide to replace the compressor wheel check with the vendors here they will be able to hook you up with a good price

Dang! I was gone for like 10 hours and missed almost 4 pages of responses! That's what makes this site so great, all the guys here who are willing to help as much as they can with Fast reponses!
Vitalidle - That's a great write-up on the superior wheel install. I think I may be doing that one soon, If i'm not mistaken, you can get a wicked wheel for about $85, is that right? I'll check with the vendors.

Has anyone gone with one of these wheels?
Like it?
Dislike it?
Is it worth it?

Thanks

Yeah I paid somthing close to that. 80-90 bucks not real sure of the exact price. I have the whicked wheel with the ATS compressor housing and love my setup. I would do it again. I can hit 28 psi with my setup

That combination and your vids, I really like the sound. Not to mention how it'll cure the surge...

Someday!
