There is a thread under the electrical section where a bunch of guys are having this problem but I know not a lot of people look though the Electrical section (only 5 are viewing at the time) so I posted udner the genral discussion to try and get some help with this.
I cut the wires that go to the light udner the hood to slice in a LED light strip. Since I cut the wires none of my windows go down on any switch and the radio doesn't come on. I am getting power to the the radio becuase the backlights on the buttons come on and when I press the power button the Ford logo comes up on the screen (I have factory nav from an 08) but it won't come on. I checked all the fuses and they were all good both under the dash and under the hood. I'm not sure how to check the big block looking fuses but the book says they have nothing to do with windwos or radio.
