4 wheel drive problems?

Ok so got out locked my hubs in and turned the transfer case to 4x4 high wouldnt engage so i tried 4x4 low nothing again any ideas on what it could be?

Do you have the electronic transfer case switch? If so, there's a motor on the back of the transfer case that switches the gears when you turn the 4x4 knob inside. It could be faulty. I had one go out on my old bronco and once I replaced it, 4x4 worked great. It looks like a window motor, because it basically is FYI.

Also The 4x4 switch goes through a computer module I think it's called a "GEM" so if you have a scan tool you might get a trouble code. That could help you narrow it down. There are also relays under the hood on the fuze box you could check and see if they click when you turn the switch. Hope this helps
