Lifting front of truck with "Air Lift" bags??

I want to lift the front ofmy truck 1-2"'s. I have explored brackets (I don't like) helper spring (I was told it will make noise??) or purchasing new springs which is pricey.
Now to my question.
I have a set of air lift 5000 bags, An on board compressor and valve/ect. Has anyone with leaf springs up front used these bags to soft'in the ride and lift the truck?
I was going to install them on the rear and pull out my second huge leaf pack I added years back. On average I haul 25oolbs in my bed and the spring pack I added keeps my truck level and beautiful when loaded, But of coarse it beats the tar out of me when empty.
I was even thingking of just adding the bags to the rear keeping both spring packs I have on.
But the question is for the front.
Thanks

A buddy of mine had an OBS that he bought with front and rear air bags. The previouse owner had put the front bags in to Level the truck. By the time you put enough air in the bags to lift the truck it will ride worse than it does now.
