Livin on the EDGE

I finally got my edge evo for my truck. I took it out tonight a little and only put it on the tow setting. Still made a very noticable gain in power. Say i noticed when i was lookin at my diagnostics that my eng RPM's were kinda jumpy. My truck has felt that way since i bought it, but it was idling between 650 and 710. Is that normal to jump around that much? My tach on the dash doesn't move but the ECM shows it is a little. Just want to see if its normal or a problem. I am gonna replace my fuel filter this weekend to see if it'll smooth it out. I was feeling a little shake in it that i posted about before and i have no codes so we'll try the filter and hope it smooths it out!

ok, thanks for the replies guys! Yeah mine also was jumpy before the install so i guess its not that big of a deal. Do you think the CPS would make it jump around? I thought they just gave out on ya, but if someone else has experienced some other reaction with the CPS, please let me know. I have my spare ready in the glove box! The jumping is kinda weird on mine cause it will rock a little when i'm in gear with just a little pedal, like when i back up my drive way, it'll shake noticably. I don't know why. I had my drive shaft rebalanced and a shim put in the carrier bearing. There was a TSB for that but it still shakes.
