I am thinking of switching over to Syn. T6 5-40 on my next/first oil change in my 2000 7.3. I use T6 in my wifes Jeep CRD and am happy with it's perfomance(oil).
For those of you who have converted to a syntheitc from dino, is there anything I need to be careful of regarding the residual leftover dino oil left in the system and the synthetic not blending after the change?
T6 is heavily hydrocracked synthetic...meaning it has dino oil base stocks, it will blend with any dino oil just fine.
It is good stuff, great value for a synthetic...still a bit too rich for my blood but very good.
