First Diesel Pickup!!!

[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

2002 f350 auto lariat

My new truck just picked up today. Already has a few mods S&B intake, 4inch straight pipe, and boost pyro gauges. Already in love with the power and sound of the 7.3. What do yall think any suggestions on my first mods?

Nice truck; and good job on getting a 7.3. Nice LT250R too. I built a full XC race spec 1986 Honda TRX250R a few years ago, but sold it when the local riding spots went away.

Before a chip or any other mod, I recommend changing all fluids (if they need it) to get yourself a baseline on maintenance for the truck. Changing all the fluids sounds like it's not a big deal, but it can get expensive (especially if you go full synthetic) so plan for it in your budget. I switched everything in my truck to Amsoil and Schaeffers synthetics (engine, trans, t-case, differentials) and the complete switch cost me somewhere around $450.

2001 F-250 CC SB 4x4 Off-Road w/ 88k miles on the 7.3. 4" lift on 35" BFGs. All synthetic fluids (Amsoil & Schaeffer's)
S&B intake, 4" turbo-back straight-pipe, 6.0 trans cooler, Dieselsite coolant filter w/ Delo ELC, Isspro gauges, Mag Hy-Tec diff cover
2012 tailgate, rear bumper, and tailights

2001 Excursion Limited
Only 55k miles on the 7.3
Bone stock
