0-60 ummmm
I've been wanting to post this and my mind keeps forgetting to remind me but anyways, my 99 250 only mods are 6637, hollared cat, still have the muffler and i removed the egbv, superchips cortex on high performance... from a dead stop to 60 takes me 12.9 sec, i know its a heavy truck and turbo spooling but 13 secs, not really that much smoke coming out either i know thats a good thing but i'm just sayin, i would have thought differently as there is no smoke so it should be puttin out???

Be thankful you don't have a 6 speed. Merging on the freeway is embarrassing...

she'll beltch out some black smoke which isn't that dense but it stops just before it goes into 2nd. i could only wish i had the zf6, i'd convert it in a heartbeat if i ever find one with all the accessories

The auto doesn't leave much to be desired either. The gears are too tall and I'm way out of the power band before it shifts.

Don't get me wrong, I love the 6 speed and would never trade it for an auto but it is just damn slow haha.

its all good, i'd trade ya in a heartbeat as i would like to get back into hauling, manual is WAY better than an auto

02 F-250 4X4 Auto E/C SB Banks 6 gun and Banks 4inch exhaust w/muffler. 0-60 8.4 sec hardly any smoke. Not sure why I’d be 5sec faster to 60. You might have other issues 5sec is a huge difference in 0-60. Does anyone else have 0-60 times for comparison? FYI I LOVE my Auto.

i could think of a some issues that i could have 1 being the injectors i'm hearing a ticking noise from the passenger side and i still have factory exhaust, original w/ 260k miles i'm sure the muffler is full of soot as i slept in my truck like a dummy while it idled in freezing weather but that was cheaper than a hotel room. I had my turbo apart once to rebuild it but i was under a time constraint and didn't polish the turbine side to get all that soot out, thinkin about going back in there and doing that since i'm not working, just need an air compressor but a little easier that way vice electric drill.
