7.3 dual alternater install, Any wiring diagrams out there?

I just did a search and found nothing.
is this wiring diagram really that hard to come by?
My diesel mechanic just installed my second alternator because i have been using way to much power for a single alternator system. Now i am getting the battery light and when we checked the alternators, one was pumping out 30 amps, and the other was only pumping out 5. so im wondering if this thing was wired in correctly. id like to find a schematic for the second alternator add on and see if his wiring matches what needs to be.

how'd the project work out? any noticable hp decrease?
