I read your thread, and that does suck bawlz. Looks like you have the neighborhood biggies on your side tho. I have got some easygoing people in my development. Well, except for my kinda caddy corner neibor who rode my wifes azz this morning on her way to work, Gonna have a come to Jesus meeting with him. I'd love to catch him out of the development, in a parking lot and just kinda idle by till I got to him and Juice it and soak him in a nice bath of stroker smoke!!! I might even have to do it twice!!! godd luck on your situation tho bro.

I'm not sure how I managed, I think I made it a whole month before I started messin' with my truck 'cause of you guys.... **grin** that's all changed now... LOL

I'm thinking of doing just this, removing the muffler and replaceing with straigt pipe. I will have to re-install the tail pipe, as my truck has a utility bed on it, and I want the exhaust to come out the back right corner of the truck. I also use this truck for work, electrican on service calls in residential nabourgh hoods, and don't want to be rattleing the windows of every house I drive by, in a big yellow (company color) truck with my name on the side!
Let me know how much louder your truck is once you get the tail pipe back on. It's still a stock exhaust otherwise tho, right?

Greg

well, I put the tail pipe on after much grunting to get it free from the muffler, and it quitened it down a bit from it just exiting under the truck. It is loud if you romp on it of course! hehe, but, its not bad if your outside and you happen to be cruising by. Cant wait to get my gauges today! Thats next. Then I will be done for a while, well, once I do a do-it-urself mapfooler, and then remove the wastegate line to see if it makes more boost. Maybe the 10K mod....
