I had a similar issue with one of my apartment managers years ago. A buddy of mine and I lived in a NICE apartment complex in San Diego. We have a semi-attached one car garage and we used it for my buddies Fiero. Well, while we were moving in, my other friend came over and backed into the garage to drop off some of my stuff I had at his house. We left the door open and car running, as we were only going to be there for about 10-15 mins. Apparently, one of the managers lived above my garage. She comes down in her nighty's (at 9PM, quiet hours start at 10PM) griping about the garage door shaking her floor and the exhaust being loud. We shrugged it off. About a week later, my roommate and I come home from the bar at about 3AM...open the garage door and pull the Fiero in, and then go inside the apartment. About 30 mins later, we are on the couch playing PS2, and there is a knock on the door. It's the Manager lady...with the effin Cops. She called the cops b/c we opened the garage door!!! We talk to the cops and they leave...nothing they can do...we weren't revving the car or anything. About a month goes by and nothing. Then, I'm out in the garage, wrenching on the Fiero, and I start it up to see if the MSD worked. She comes down AGAIN. (This time it's like 2pm on a Sat.) I told her off, and marched over to the office...filed a harrassment complaint and you know what? She didn't say a word after that. Probably b/c I would sit in the car a rev it from 9:45 and 10PM everynight for a week. It's our garage, we pay for it, she gets free rent for working there...if you don't like it...move. I have a lease!!!

I live in a duplex and our neighbors and I have a prety good arangement. they dont say any thing about me and my loud arse truck coming home @ 2,3,4,5 A.M. from work and I dont say any thing about them partying untill midnight every sunday nite. I idle in the driveway and they keep their music low. thats the way it should be. some people just wake up on the wrong side of the bed every day.

Now...I do gripe about the kid across the lawn that comes in at 0130 twice a week and blasts his 'boom-boom music' till 3am. That crap is getting REALLY old. I went and told him to cut the crap off "Decent people are trying to sleep!" and he did...that time.

Man, CJ Ford, that is a nice looking '79. Great color too. I like the neighbors that yell at EVERYONE to slow down. I have been yelled at doing 10-15, speed limit is 25. He yelled, I juiced it. My wife hates how I antagonize everyone.

I get the same thing form the g/f.
Her - "Why are you purposely going 2 mph under the limit and blocking traffic; blowing soot every 30 seconds?"
Me - "Because if he were any closer, he would be infront of me!!! He's trying to get that Lexus up Brisco's Butt...and Brisco doesn't swing that way!"

I actualy have yelled at a few people on my street! theres a house a couple down from ours and all of their friends drive POS ricers and crotch rockets and they treat the street like it was their personal little drag strip! Given that resedential speed limit is 25mph here I only do 10-15 mph and still I have almost hit 3 difrent kids on this street. I am still waiting for the day to pick up the news paper and find out that one of the neighbors kids was killed by a speeding car on my street.

But there are some major whack jobs out there that I seriously wonder if there is something seriously wrong with them mentaly! My little brother was cruising down a gravel road and a guy followed him for 15 miles, ran him off the road and screamed and yelled at him about kicking up dust when he went by his house... uh? dont live on a gravel road if you dont like dust!

Truck could totally do it if the glass break sensors are real sensitive. My cruiser with drag pipes used to set off the glass break sensors of my house in MIA before I moved.
