Looking at buying 2001 Ford F250 4x$ Crew Cab!!!

All,

I am off today to look at 2001 Ford F250 4x4 Crew Cab for sale with the legendary 7.3L in it for $12,000 and I am super excited about it. The truck has 118,000 miles on it and it was a 2 truck owner and has a clean carfax from what I have found. Do you guys think is a good buy or a catastrophe waiting to happen? Thanks.

Why would you ask if it's a catastrophe waiting to happen? Is there something wrong with the truck that you didn't mention? I paid $12k for my 2000 dually CC LB 4X4 with 170k miles on it and couldn't be happier.

RE:

There is nothing wrong with the truck. It looks great and runs like a champ. I just want to make sure I am getting a good truck.

$12k is a good deal. Have the ball joints been replaced?
