Just bought an 01 F250 PSD

Hey guys,

I just bought an 01 with the 7.3 PSD, it has 180,000 miles (288,000km) on it.

I am trying to figure out exactly what to do maintenance wise to the engine. I know that I would like to change the tranny, diffs and transfer case oil soon. But I really want to do the proper engine maintenance right away.

From my research I want to do the following:

oil and filter
fuel filter - only the HPOP? where is it?
coolant change - and filter? where is the filter?
fuel/water seperator - and filter? where is the filter?

Anything else engine wise?
Are there any good write ups on those things, I havent found anything yet...

Is there only 1 fuel filter? it is the HPOP right?

is there a coolant filter from the factory? or is that something that people add?

Is there a fuel/water seperater filter from the factory?

Is there only 1 fuel filter? it is the HPOP right?there is one fuel filter on in the engine valley. The HPOP is the high pressure oil pump; it pressurizes oil to fire the injectors. It is located in the front of the valley mounted to the front cover

is there a coolant filter from the factory? or is that something that people add?no coolant filter from the factory it is an add on on the Ford version

Is there a fuel/water seperater filter from the factory?yes the filter in the engine valley, is a fuel filter and water separator
