BTS Valve Body install!!!????

I bought this van about 5000 miles ago. It came with a 5 yr/100,000 warranty. Unfortunately, a stipulation of the warranty is fluid changes must be performed by ASE certified mechanics at their required intervals. Too frequent, but whatever. I have a warranty.

I bought the BTS valvebody, figured I would get the trans fluid changed, and while they had the pan off, have them install the valve body. Holy crap, it's like your talking Chinese. Why do you need a valve body? Did it come with instructions? We can't do it. We'll have to drop the trans....

And these are trans shops, not Jiffy Doob. I must have called 15 places and the price ranged from 250 to over 300. Granted that includes the fluid change.

So I went and got a tarp, dropped the pan, installed the body in about 15 mins., and then put the same fluid back in. Now I have to go to Jiffy Doob tomorrow and get the fluid changed!!!

Yep-one place I stopped at I told them to charge me for the fluid change and $50 cash for the valve body. They wanted 2 hours labor at 79 an hour.
