pcm code ?

I am going to order a dp-tuner for my e99 and use the edge juice w/attitude for gauges only. In order to order the dp-tuner i have to provide my pcm code which means pulling the pcm. Do i have to "return to stock" the edge before i pull it or just disconnect the batteries and pull it. I have removed the pcm on my previous 7.3 many times before I just didnt have a "tuner" in it. Thanks for any help.

Dont pull it out just stick a small mirror or a butter knife down there and you'll be able to get it, its on a sticker on the driver side fender side.
